"Combine all the positive elements of Bud Powell and Oscar Peterson with a deep infusion of Movravian soul, and you have Emil Viklicky, the patriarch of Czech jazz piano. His trio plays beautifully, combining the melodic richness of their folk-music with the crisp teamwork of best US jazz practice."
